I did a mini gothic clothing haul at this great place called Metro on Hawthorne. Right off the bat, the girl working was incredibly engaging, friendly and helpful. I had a great experience. She was so cool and sweet. I recommend this place to people who are looking for some rad gothic wear. They carried Queen of Darkness among other awesome brands. They have costume items as well as steampunk. I liked that most of their clothing items were gothic. So rad! It was the first all alternative gothic shop I found in Portland. I hope to find a few more. I haven't seen a lot of goths in Oregon yet but everyone is super friendly here. A guy at Peets even complimented me on my gothic alchemy bat necklace. Here are a few of the adorable items I got at Metro.

Aww, MAN, why did I not find this store when I was in Portland???? It's only about 30 minutes away from my hotel by bus! Bugger... Well, maybe it wasn't open then. Yeah, I'll go with that... ;-)
