Nightmare Before Christmas tattoo!

Hey all, I wanted to share my amazing Nightmare Before Christmas tattoo. We are almost done with my sleeve! My artist is the incredibly talented and beautiful Ally Lee from Hot Rod Alley Tattoo in Santa Cruz. She is one of the sweetest and most professional artists I have ever met. I will be seeing her for more work in the future. Below are pics of our progress. The top half, and later I will share more close ups of the bottom half when we get it done. I couldn't be happier. She has exceeded my expectations. I love her work. She can do anything from portrait work to cartoons to traditional.

Jack Skellington inspiration

I got this new makeup bag recently. It is so cute. I love all the detail in in. Jack inspires me with so much. I even married a super tall, thin guy. My husband makes fun of me but I finally got him to do a nightmare before christmas Jack and Sally cosplay a few years back with me. It was so fun! What are some of your favorite movie characters that inspire you?

Jack makeup bag, Hot Topic.
Black velvet pants, Forever 21.

DIY Turn your coffee cup into a cool Jack Skellington cup :D

I thought this Jack Skellington "Starbucks" style mug was incredibly clever so I wanted to make my own. When I looked it up I couldn't find one anywhere. I saw Jack mugs but nothing with the Starbucks type logo but then I found these amazing decals someone made on Red Bubble and got one. I placed it over my regular Starbucks mug logo and voila! You've got yourself an awesome Jack Skellington coffee mug. I like knowing that every day Jack will be with me when I drink my coffee.

Happy Halloween

This year my love and I went as Jack and Sally. I feel it was the perfect choice for us. My husband is very lanky and tall like Jack and I am pale with the red hair so it suited us well. I have always secretly wanted to be Sally of course. In tribute to brilliant Tim Burton Happy Halloween. I would love to see your costumes if any of you dressed up or plan to dress up. Cheers!
