BloodLust: Prose and Poetry book
You all know I'm a sucker for dark poetry. I write poetry, I read it. I love it. This new book by Aurora Desmond is beautiful and interesting. The cover struck me. I loved it and it reminded me of myself. I had seen it before on Amazon so I decided to get it. I will be chatting about this book soon on my video vlog and reading one of my favorite poems from the book. What I loved about the book is it has a short story and poetry as well. I enjoy reading fiction, non fiction and anything with goth characters in it so this was really fun to read. Very macabre, interesting and cool. Check it out here to get one of these books: Bloodlust: Prose and Poetry

My latest goth diy projects
Lately I have been wanting to do some new DIY projects with my worn faux leather jacket and my old tights. My jacket was becoming quite old but I wasn't ready to get rid of it because I like wearing clothes until they are completely word apart. I got some paint and decided to recreate the 80's goth club, Batcave logo on my jacket. I drew some spider web design on the front collar and safety pinned some cool horror patches on the bottom along with attaching my skeleton hand hair clip and sticker.
With my tights I wanted to create some simple arm warmers/gloves so I measured and cut then cut off the waist band so as not to waste the fabric and it made for a lovely little neck warmer (not pictured here) I also cut tiny thumbholes for my thumbs. I hope you enjoy these and it gives you some cool ideas. Don't worry about having a stencil for your painting if you don't have one. I didn't have one. I painted mine free handed and it got rave reviews. Enjoy and happy DIY-ing :D

Shop Punk Rave!
Punk Rave is an awesome gothic shop with punk, Gothic Lolita and I first discovered them while shopping online. One of the really beautiful gothic pieces I own is from Punk Rave. Their shop is unique and their clothing is well made and can easily fit into many different goth subculture styles. It is hard to find gothic clothes sometimes that I like at certain shops but I have always loved their selections. They have some really lovely pieces that I can easily incorporate into my wardrobe.

Outfit of the day inspiration: HIM
I love the band HIM. They are a cool rock band that has been around for some time and they have an 80's/90's gothic influence to them. Very cool band. If you have never head of them check them out! I wore my new HIM shirt and combined it with my favorite fishnet skirt for a cool Summer look.
Top and Skirt, Hot Topic. Bat cameo necklace, Pumpkin Coven. Parasol, Hilary's Vanity.

Wednesday Addams outfit inspiration part II
I love Wednesday Addams. Who doesn't? I was inspired to do a Wednesday inspired look for Summer since I enjoy emulating her style year round. I needed to find a look for warmer months! I usually like her longer sleeves during Fall and Winter but when it gets toasty outside so as not to boil I stick with a short sleeve look. This look is velvet which I don't recommend for Summer but it was light weight fabric so I didn't burn up. Here I am with my vegan Starbucks pink drink. I know SO not goth lmfao but I love them bahaha. The most colorful part of my wardrobe besides my tattoo.
Enjoy!!
Dress, Hot Topic.

New Banner made by Metal Momma from youtube
Love this beautiful new gothic banner made from me by fellow youtuber Metal Momma. I asked for something that had purple and black with maybe some bats and pretty things. I love the rose! She had no idea it was one of my favorite flowers. So lovely and the script in my name juxtaposed with the bat is lovely. Check out her channel down below. I will list mine as well so you can see her lovely banner. Please subscribe to our channels! :D

Deadpool and Alice in Wonderland movies
Finally saw Deadpool and Alice in Wonderland. Not at the same theater but it was fun. I really liked the Alice movie. Not as much as I liked the first one but I will definitely buy it. I also liked Deadpool. Hilarious. I want to get that film too. My husband particularly liked it because he is super sarcastic like him haha. I hope there are more fun goth-esque movies to see this summer! It is almost summer ahhh it is super toasty here so I will be spending a lot of time indoors at theaters and drinking yummy iced juices and vegan ice cream cones. Yum yum!!!
