December they come out with some of my favorite teas and I enjoy to make beet stew with my husband and eat a lot of rye during these months. Beer and rye keeps me warm. I have a naturally low body temperature but I did suffer a bit of hypothermia a few weeks ago which was not fun. This reminded me to bundle up before I go out. It was colder here in the Bay then it was when I was in England! I didn't expect that but we also needed some rain so I am happy for this. I enjoy all of the holly, Christmas trees and pine cones with fallen leaves everywhere. Happy Holidays and hold your loved ones close.

Melancholy Beauty
I love England so much. One of my favorite things are parks that are juxtaposed with old gravestones, ivy, moss and other nature. I wish to go back on holiday when I can. Everything was so surreal, like a dream that you wanted to keep dreaming. I will forever be in love. We stumbled upon this beautiful place in St. John's Wood. I took many pictures before we headed over to Primrose Hill.

Cool jewelry deals
I got this for about a dollar or so at Joanne's Fabrics and the other was from Hot Topic during one of their sales. I love all the deals I find. I am excited to wear my little Frankenstein necklace. It's super cute and a great deal. The Brainscan trickster necklace I made myself. I happened upon an amazing garage sale with a really cool guy and he had a vintage Brainscan button. (One of my favorite older thriller movies with Edward Furlong) I got some neat comic books and the Trickster button and took it home to make a necklace out of it. I love the amazing treasures you find accidentally while out on a walk.

Romeo and Juliet
While we were in London we went to see the Romeo and Juliet ballet at the Royal Opera House. It was one of the most beautiful ballets I have ever seen. To me, the Romeo and Juliet story is very macabre and lovely. I have always loved this story and although it has a sad ending it is still one of my all time favorites. One of my favorite movies is the old school one with Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting. I remember seeing that film as a kid and falling head over heels for Leonard Whiting. I also really dig the Baz Luhrmann version of the film from the 90's. I use to want to be Claire Danes and have cool angel wings like hers in the film. It was a dream come true to be able to see the ballet with my husband. We had a nice dinner with complete with champagne. It was one of most amazing venues I have ever been at. To me it will always be such a timeless, perfect, tragic tale.
