Fantasy Faire 2014

We made our way to the Fantasy Faire this year in San Jose. We had such a great time. I hope you guys can come and check it out if you are in the Bay Area. My favorite were the dragons and fairies and these awesome booths with really cool felt fantasy characters and another one that had amazing gothic, steampunk and whimsical jewelry.

Cool jewelry deals

I got this for about a dollar or so at Joanne's Fabrics and the other was from Hot Topic during one of their sales. I love all the deals I find. I am excited to wear my little Frankenstein necklace. It's super cute and a great deal. The Brainscan trickster necklace I made myself. I happened upon an amazing garage sale with a really cool guy and he had a vintage Brainscan button. (One of my favorite older thriller movies with Edward Furlong) I got some neat comic books and the Trickster button and took it home to make a necklace out of it. I love the amazing treasures you find accidentally while out on a walk.

My treasures!! :D Batman garland. How cool is that?

Mother's Day weekend

For mother's day I took my mom to her favorite the Stanford Powwow. I love the dancing, jewelry and all the arts and crafts and the spiritual atmosphere there. It is peaceful and always fun to meet all of the cool people at the booths. I got a really cool spoon ring for ten dollars. We have friends who live on reservations and also my mom has students who dance at some of the powwows so it is always nice to see people we know there. I hope you all have a lovely mother's day weekend.

xoxo, Winter

Gothic key necklaces

Steampunk style key necklace, Steampunk Couture.

Norse style key necklace. Ebay.

Vintage key necklace from Storyteller Keys.

I love key necklaces. I think keys are romantic and interesting and especially secretive. You never know what they may unlock.
