Bram Stoker's Dracula screening

This is one of my all time favorite films to watch. I love both Gary Oldman and Winona Ryder. Friends and I got together for a Bram Stoker's Dracula screening. You can't beat the 90's film. We plan to screen old school Nosferatu and some other vampire movies in the future. I decorated with a vintage Dracula comic poster I bought from a friend, bat plush dolls, my Dracula book, themed purse, scented candle, gargoyle and purple bat string lights my friend Tom gave me.

Afternoon with Neil Gaiman

My good friend and I went to see Neil Gaiman speak at the California Theater. He is one of the best authors hands down. His stories are amazing, fantastical, gothic, dark and whimsical. Whenever I read his books it transports me to a different time and place. His books have gotten me through some incredibly tough times and listening to him speak was a great experience. I tried to hold back tears but I couldn't. He is so lovely. I will always love and appreciate him. It was wonderful and I hope to go see him speak again some day soon. Some of my favorite books are Coraline, the Sandman Series, American Gods and Neverwhere. I love all his books I have read so far. I am still collecting more books. My library is literally overflowing with his works. I hope those of you who haven't seen him speak someday get the pleasure to and if you haven't checked out his books please do!

Rasputin

We met up at Starbucks for some coffee and made our way over to Rasputin. It was really fun talking about our favorite bands, shows and connecting with other cool people. 

Coffee and Comics

Today friends and I met up at Starbucks to grab some java before heading over to check out comic books and vintage goodies. We had a great time and it was so fun to meet other people with like interests. I hope you all had a good weekend.
