After Valentine's Picnic

For all the single and non single goths out there I threw an after Valentine's picnic where we all brought things to share. One person made us home made drinks the outfits were lovely. The park was amazing where we went. It was surrounded by trees. I will be throwing more dress up picnics in the future. There were many woodland animals and loads of beautiful scenery. One of my good friends brought home made lavender scones and tea. I brought ginger squares, hummus, veggies and pita chips for a healthy snack. There were so many goodies. I wore a red corset from Good Goth and later changed into a dark purple lace top that I packed in my bag. I hope you had a lovely weekend!

Happy Yule!

We celebrate the 12 nights of Yule and Winter Solstice complete with ale drinking, feasts and offerings to the Gods. What do you celebrate in your traditions? Solstice? Christmas? Hannukkah or other. I'd love to know and see pics of your celebrations. We usually decorate a tree. My husband is a chef and makes roasts for meat eaters and vegan roasts for vegans and vegetarians. This year we did a borscht soup to celebrate the night of the wild hunt and we did a raspberry vegan cake for Mother's Night and to honor Frigga and our female ancestors. I will continue to put more photos up in this post. I hope that you all have a wonderful holiday season whatever or however you celebrate. Cheers!

Lovely mjolnir for our altar.

I dressed up the day of Yule in this gothic skirt I found online.

Soundgarden and NIN tour

Friends and I got together and caught the NIN/Soundgarden tour at Shoreline this past week. When we arrived the sun was setting and it had the most beautiful hues so I took a photo. We got there just in time for Soundgarden's set. It was amazing and I won't forget it. Both Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden have been some of my favorite bands since I was young so this was very special for me.  I saw Soundgarden many years ago as a teen. There are certain experiences in life where you see a show and it is so uplifting, spiritual, amazing. The feeling is hard to describe. Being a person who has synesthesia, musical experiences for me are incredibly intense. So surreal and beautiful. An amazing trip that I can feel from my head to my feet. Listening to rock or metal and especially seeing great musicians live is my favorite.

Buffy the Vampire slayer night Summer Edition

What do goths do when it is sweltering hot outside? We get together, clothes swap, shop, eat home made cupcakes, popsicles and have Buffy marathons :D We also go the the beach we just do it at night or on overcast days. At least I do :> I am more of a creature of the night but that doesn't mean I can't get outside. We just do it in the shade ;)

My good friend whom I also model for brought some goodies from her store Arsenic Fashions and we all did a little shopping. So glad we could get some cool items!

My friend and his new awesome gloves from Arsenic Fashions.
