Outfit of the Day: Corset Dress

I like corset dresses they make you appear more curvy and busty if that is what you are looking for and if you don't like that look you can always wear a sweater or a gothic jacket over your dress or get a different style. Corset styles are very fun to wear though. I am not always in the mood but sometimes they look more romantic and more sultry.

DIY gothic lace cozies for votive candle holders

I love DIY projects. I recently saw this somewhere. Lace cozies for candle holders. These were so fun and easy to make.

What you will need:

1. Lace
2. Scissors
3. Needle
4. Black thread (or other colors if you prefer other colors of lace get the appropriate thread.)
5. Candle holders/votive

What to do: simply measure the lace around each votive candle holder, cut with scissors and sew the ends together. You can do this while lace is still around holder if that is easier or you can sew them together separate if you prefer that method. Make sure to double knot after you sew. Voila! You have lovely gothic cozies. These are a great project to do with your friends or to make as elegant and affordable gifts for holidays, birthdays etc.

Affordable gothic fashion: Lace dress and red buckle boots

Red buckle boots, Lace Forget me not dress, Forever 21. Necklace, thrift store or cheap jewelry store.
Gravestone black nail polish, CVS.

I got this outfit again at Forever 21 and the necklace I got super cheap thrifting or at some random store for like 7 dollars. Lace dress was around 17 but you can wait til it goes on sale or find a similar one at a thrift store. I found a great lace skirt for around 7 dollars at Ross I will put pictures of up soon. The nail polish was about $1.99 from CVS. It is super cute and I always check for things around Halloween time. I always find really cool items at places like CVS and Ross. Sometimes I find cheaper gothy type items there than I do thrifting believe it or not.
