Camden Town and Camden Locke

Surreal and amazing isn't even beginning to describe how awesome this place is. If you are gothic or alternative like me I promise there will be something to suit your tastes. From bohemian, whimsical fairie child to Mori girl running around in the forest to vampiric and gothic princess, the clothes here are gorgeous and in a word perfect. I was able to find clothing and items at prices that were so much cheaper than they are online or at other stores. The array of gothic clothing they had here was so much more than I have found in the states. Usually I have to import my vampiric, romantic style goth clothing from other countries so it was so nice to come here and find what I was looking for. I found they really catered to you especially if you are more alternative. Seeing the canals, the former horse stables, the art, it seemed like something one could only dream of and the fact that this place exists is all to wonderful. It is urban, cool and full of so many people with so many nationalities. It was so fun!! When you shop here do beware of pick pockets and keep an eye on your bags and goodies but other than that it is a fun and safe place to come. I had no issues with pick pockets myself but I also am gothic with red hair and a 6 foot 4 husband who has a black belt in karate lol. It does get incredibly crowded but I found people were very polite. If you are worried about food. They have every kind of food from every type of place you can imagine. You won't go broke eating here. Many of the pieces are priced very low and affordable. A lot of the vendors and sellers of jewelry have extremely affordable items as well and if you don't mind spending more there are a few shops you can do so at. This was by far one of my favorite places. I recommend a visit if you ever come to England!

Lip Service waist cincher

When I took a trip to L.A a few years ago, I checked out the Lip Service warehouse. That is one of my favorite places to go and they are so friendly there. I met a lovely girl there named Autumn and we had a giggle because my name is Winter. If you haven't checked out the actual Lip Service Warehouse in Los Angeles, you really should.

Wedding reception outfit

Yesterday I tried on a few different variations of my wedding reception outfit that I planned to wear. I shot pictures in front of my neighbors new lovely bloomed flowers. I got this amazing corset and skirt from Good Goth, one of my all time favorite stores. It was so lovely and extremely comfortable. I settled on a long skirt I got for about 15 dollars on ebay because it gave the corset a bit more of an elegant look. The short skirt is perfect for summer or prom time though.

Blue Elegance

I recently found this amazing corset on ebay for around 6 dollars. The skirt was 5 dollars. What a steal! If you seek you shall find. I post a lot about my ebay and etsy treasures. Finding these items were too good to be true. I honestly could not believe it. The corset fit perfectly and it would retal for around 40 dollars usually. If any of you find great deals please share. I'd love to hear about it.

Affordable ebay finds

One of my favorite places to shop is ebay. A trick for finding rad, affordable pieces is I type in gothic lot or goth lot. If you are into other styles you can type whatever you want and then lot or mixed lot. I got a 21 piece lot for 70 dollars the other day. Some people spend 70 on one or two items of clothing alone but there are a lot of people that just want to get rid of their items because they are moving away or want to clean out your closet. Another thing I look for are items that are going to sell soonest and a lot of times they have little or no bidders. I wait til the very end and then type in my bid and come away with really affordable pieces. Some of these tops I got on ebay for around 5 dollars. Retail, this would go for at least 18 or 20 most likely. I also found a really affordable romantic gothic jacket for my fiancee for less than half the price that it was retailing. The last thing I do is always look for great deals right after holidays. I go to halloween stores a few days after halloween, costume shops, ebay, amazon and other places. You can find so many great deals if you just take your time. Ebay and etsy hunting does take a bit of time to find good stuff but don't settle for the first few items you see. Use the resources on ebay to narrow down and find just what you are looking for. It takes time but it is so worth it. Good luck and happy bargain hunting!!

I got this Bauhaus tee for pretty cheap on ebay and I did a clothing swap with friends  and scored this velvet skirt. Clothing swaps are also a great way to get clothes. So much fun. My gothic velvet cross necklace I got a while ago on etsy for around 6 or 7 dollars. Very reasonable.

This tank top I got for 5 dollars on ebay. The gothic industrial style hoodie was around 7 dollars. Score! They have a lot of really affordable tops. Before you shop retail always check ebay.
