Metro: Cool goth store in Portland

I did a mini gothic clothing haul at this great place called Metro on Hawthorne. Right off the bat, the girl working was incredibly engaging, friendly and helpful. I had a great experience. She was so cool and sweet. I recommend this place to people who are looking for some rad gothic wear. They carried Queen of Darkness among other awesome brands. They have costume items as well as steampunk. I liked that most of their clothing items were gothic. So rad! It was the first all alternative gothic shop I found in Portland. I hope to find a few more. I haven't seen a lot of goths in Oregon yet but everyone is super friendly here. A guy at Peets even complimented me on my gothic alchemy bat necklace. Here are a few of the adorable items I got at Metro.

Gothic Steampunk

Found these lovely faux bird skull earrings online somewhere and got the shrug from Steampunk Couture a while back. I love it and it is very comfy. I also got the octopus hair ornament from there. It is so fun to wear out and everyone always likes it.

For my friend's baby shower I got some lovely gothic top hats. Here I tried them on before the big day. We did a gothic style Alice in Wonderland/Mad hatter themed baby shower.

Outfit of the day

My love and I went to dinner on a very hot day. I had things to mail out as well so I wanted to be comfortable and cool in the warm weather. I love fishnets and will be getting many for the summer.
