Apocalyptic Beauty makeup on etsy
I love doing swatches on my hands because my arms are too tatted up to do any lol Check out Apocalyptic Beauty. She has some great stuff. The two shadows I got were Existenstial Vampire which had a beautiful red/rust shade that had a pretty shimmer to it and was pigmented and Death comes to your little town which was a nice deep purple shade. She also gave me a sample of the beautiful shade Season of the Witch. My favorite shade was the vampire one. I am a sucker for anything with red inside of it and it goes perfect with my aesthetic. I loved Season of the Witch too. I liked this one because it seemed to have a bit of blue to it as well. Please support local and independent artists over really huge companies. I try and support when I can. The only popular makeup I really like is probably Kat Von D because her makeup has great pigmented shades and she is pure vegan and cruelty free as well. Check out Apocalyptic Beauty!

Lisbeth Salander style inspiration
Found a great vegan friendly store on etsy called Disaster in a Halo. I am obsessed with Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I love the books and the films. I wrote a great piece about it on my other blog Vegan Goth but wanted to share my pics of the clothes here. Go check it out. Lisbeth rocks! I lover her badass style and attitude and her punk/goth style. The Swedish movies are my favorite but I love the new English version too. For fans of the books and movies who want to cosplay or just own a bit of Lisbeth style the store is everything you would imagine. It is such a find. I personally would like a whole Lisbeth Salander wardrobe. I can't wait until the other films come out. Here is link to my other blog post also. The other post is a bit more personal and focuses less on fashion and more on the character of Lisbeth and why she means so much to me:

Holographic Dreamz photo shoot
One of the stores I model for is Holographic Dreamz. If you are one of those people who like pastel, candy kid, goth, 90s, psychedelic, sea punk style fashion you might dig this. I love working with the designer. She has some brighter and also more dark pieces. She will be selling crystals in her shop soon too which I'm pretty excited about. Check out Holographic Dreamz here: Store

Product Review: Epically Epic Soap Co.
When I saw this in my Gothic Beauty magazine I was super excited and eager to try a few of the cool products. I picked up some "Gothic Girl" scented oil and gorgeous lip tint. The lip tint is great. I just wear it as lip stick with a bit of lip liner and blend. The perfume oil is so nostalgic and reminds me of some oil I use to wear in high school every day. It is reminiscent of my days lying out in the grass with friends in the shade and listening to The Cure. I was sad years ago because the oil I use to wear was discontinued so when I found this new oil on etsy that smelled exactly like the one I use to wear I was thrilled. It was like it was made for me and other little gothlings. My husband loves it too and asks me what scent it is. I don't wear perfume but I do love scented oils. Check this store out on etsy. It is super fun and has a variety of really fun goodies.

New gothic coffee cozy
I was excited to find this lovely "spooky bats" coffee cozy on etsy for such a great price. I love supporting artists when I can and I like having my own little unique cozy. It also gets people thinking about recycling. I recycle all the time in my art and clothing etc. At times I forget my mug/cup so I always keep this in my purse just in case I have to get a drink in a to go cup so I don't waste too much. It is nice to be stylish and eco friendly. There are a lot of unique cozies/holders etc online and you can even make your own! There are cool tutorials online.

Our gothic and vintage themed beach wedding
For our beach wedding I wanted a gothic and vintage themes. We went to Carmel River Beach for ceremony and some photos and headed over to Monastery beach for more photos and playing in the sand with some of our best friends. My husband wore a gothic vampire coat with vine detail. My bridesmaids, groom and I wore converse sneakers. I chose that because it is part of my personality we love to hike and skateboard and I'm a tomboy so it was special to us and the girls loved it! I brought a lovely gothic parasol for some of the time to hide me from any sun since I have a dangerous sun allergy. It was a bit overcast so it was not too sunny but still better to be safe. My gothic two dragon intertwined with topaz ring was made by Marty Magic. I wore a beautiful vintage dress I got at Wild at Heart Vintage on etsy. The gothic bouquets I designed with Susan Groves. She is such an amazing florist! I chose black magic roses and black cala lilies. It was an incredible day, perfect weather and the day went better than I could have hoped for. It was something one would dream of. To be so lucky and blessed by the universe to have such amazing weather it was wonderful. Two amazing photographers and friends of mine: Agata and Naphy captured the beauty of this day. Thank you to all who came out and celebrated this magical time with us.
