Shop Punk Rave!

Punk Rave is an awesome gothic shop with punk, Gothic Lolita and I first discovered them while shopping online. One of the really beautiful gothic pieces I own is from Punk Rave. Their shop is unique and their clothing is well made and can easily fit into many different goth subculture styles. It is hard to find gothic clothes sometimes that I like at certain shops but I have always loved their selections. They have some really lovely pieces that I can easily incorporate into my wardrobe.

Some of my favorite gothic dresses from Punk Rave:

Perfect dress for the club.

This dress has a very romantic feel to it.

I love the variety of dresses that they have in the shop that can fit with any mood.

They also have some amazing gothic jackets in the shop.

Go check out Punk Rave. Happy shopping! Let me know what some of your favorite pieces are.

Gothic Lolita Picnic

It was a very nice day today. Friends and I threw a Gothic Lolita picnic. It was a fun time and my husband made gourmet veggie sandwiches for everyone, which got eaten up very quickly! Lovely outfits and fun times. I brought a few gothic beauty magazines for others to read. My friends brought food, drinks and games, than we went to my place after to watch flicks.

My friend gave us these bracelets as gifts :)

Goth Girl

I got this new pullover from Heavy Red a while back. I wore it in on holiday a lot. It is very comfy and warm. I also got this lovely skirt in England and picked up this book "Goth Girl and the Ghost of a mouse" by Chris Ridell at the shop around the corner from where we stayed. It looks like a fun read with loads of cool illustrations. I can't wait to sit down with a mug of orange spice tea and read.

New Grell Sutcliff shirt

Some days I feel a bit Gothic Lolita and Kawaii. Today is father's day. I am taking my papa to see Superman and then out to dinner. Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there. I put together a funky litte outfit. I am kind of obsessed with Japan street style lately. I love a lot of their gothic looks. My husband is part Japanese and his family is from Japan so someday I hope to visit. I got this kitty cropped hoodie top on etsy. Love it so much and it is perfect for summer.

Plaid mini, vintage TRIPP. Pants, Nomads Hemp Wear. Grell Sutcliff tee, Hot Topic. Kitty ear hoodie shrug, Angry Girl Gear on etsy. (I got one of my fav. fashion corsets there )

Japan street style

For people who are into Japanese street style you might find this interesting. My soon to be husband is part Japanese, some of his family is from Japan. We sometimes watch anime. I don't like all anime but I do appreciate The Black Butler, a few others  and also a lot of the horror movies from Japan. We also enjoy looking at the Fruits books. Even though Gothic Lolita style isn't my main thing I do like drawing inspiration from some of the lolita style and even visual kei and some punk rock inspired looks. I really love the alternative culture and all it has to offer. I hope to some day visit Japan. These books I got for a good price at the used book store near my house. They can be expensive so it was wonderful to find them at such good prices.
