Apocalyptic Beauty makeup on etsy
I love doing swatches on my hands because my arms are too tatted up to do any lol Check out Apocalyptic Beauty. She has some great stuff. The two shadows I got were Existenstial Vampire which had a beautiful red/rust shade that had a pretty shimmer to it and was pigmented and Death comes to your little town which was a nice deep purple shade. She also gave me a sample of the beautiful shade Season of the Witch. My favorite shade was the vampire one. I am a sucker for anything with red inside of it and it goes perfect with my aesthetic. I loved Season of the Witch too. I liked this one because it seemed to have a bit of blue to it as well. Please support local and independent artists over really huge companies. I try and support when I can. The only popular makeup I really like is probably Kat Von D because her makeup has great pigmented shades and she is pure vegan and cruelty free as well. Check out Apocalyptic Beauty!

New look with Kat Von D Serpentina eyeshadow palette
I did a cemetery walk with my husband this week and I was inspired to do an Egyptian look with makeup. I love doing different things and designs with my eyeliner. I usually do spiderwebs but I love doing fancy curls as well. Enjoy my look. I hope it inspires you!

Lisbeth Salander style inspiration
Found a great vegan friendly store on etsy called Disaster in a Halo. I am obsessed with Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I love the books and the films. I wrote a great piece about it on my other blog Vegan Goth but wanted to share my pics of the clothes here. Go check it out. Lisbeth rocks! I lover her badass style and attitude and her punk/goth style. The Swedish movies are my favorite but I love the new English version too. For fans of the books and movies who want to cosplay or just own a bit of Lisbeth style the store is everything you would imagine. It is such a find. I personally would like a whole Lisbeth Salander wardrobe. I can't wait until the other films come out. Here is link to my other blog post also. The other post is a bit more personal and focuses less on fashion and more on the character of Lisbeth and why she means so much to me:

Gothic outfit of the day: Goth Biker inspiration
I love biker jackets. Love them. I have a few in my closet. They are great because if you are gothic you can get many in black or even in burgundy or dar blue. They can make a plain outfit pop or dress down a too fancy outfit if you want to look more casual. I love it paired with my ombre hair.

Favorite fall people and things!
2. Mary Mattern and her new cook book, Nom Yourself.
Aaah I love this blogger and vegan cook. She is so excellent and badass! I love cooking from her book. I find a lot of yummy recipes. Sooo yummy and healthy.
3. Kat Von D's Shade and Light palette.
I really like the contouring and I like the videos on youtube that help me figure out how to contour my face better. Whenever I need to bring out different features in my face I use this.
4. Vegan donuts from Whole Foods.
Nom nom nom! Such delicious donuts!
5. Fall baking.
I look forward to pumpkins and yes I am one of those people who likes loads of pumpkin everything. I made some vegan, pumpkin loafs. They are mini and so cute. I hope to eat a lot of pumpkin things and watch loads of Rocky Horror Picture show with friends this fall.
6. My little skull dress and sweaters from HM
I pair this with everything and I love the little skulls. I got this from my mom a few Christmas's ago. I love sweaters and I really like curling up near the fire and drinking hot cider with my honey while watching Tim Burton flicks. What are some of your favorite holiday movies?
7. Tofu Curry.
I love comfort food so much and tofu curry is delicious. I had an old recipe I wrote down from a cafe' I worked at with friends years ago and my husband and I still make this often.
8. Vegan cookies and Peets coffee.
Peets is one of the few cafe's that cater to vegans and vegetarians. I wish Starbucks would have more vegan items on their menu :D that would be so rad. I keep writing to them with friends. Vegan pastries please! Also I hope they will some day start using some Almond milk. If you ask Peets they will make almond hot chocolates or almond lattes for you.

DIY Vegan Pumpkin Spiced latte
I think quite a few flavored coffees in the stores are too sweet and not very healthy so I always make my own. You not only save money but also you get better quality coffee. There are a few places that make good flavored drinks but most of them are not for me. If I go to a cafe' I prefer a simple coffee or maybe vanilla or almond soy or almond latte, soy cappuccino if I feel fancy. Here I show you how I made one of my favorite drinks for the fall.
To make: brew espresso shots or 1 cup of medium to strong coffee, heat flavored milk on stove top or if you want it cooler you can just pour it in. Pour a generous portion in coffee mug with coffee
What you will need:
1. Pumpkin flavored coffee or regular coffee and pumkin syrup
(if you want it sweet... I tend to not want things overly sweet so I usually won't opt for syrup)
They have a great pumpkin flavor coffee at World Market. Looove that place!
2. Vegan/non dairy whip ( you can easily find this at a place like Whole Foods)
3. Espresso machine or if you don't have one just brew a strong cup of coffee
4. Vanilla almond milk or vanilla soy milk (if you are using flavored syrup I'd advise you to opt for non sweet almond or soy milk as it can get too sweet.)
5. Cinnamon or even nutmeg if you wish.
( about a few tablespoons or more if you like it more milky.), add a dollop of vegan whip cream and top with a pinch of spices : cinnamon or nutmeg, or both! and voila!
This latte seriously cuts calories and junk out where fast coffee places would add so many additives. Not to knock cafe's who have them! I mean once in a while a sweet coffee is fun but for those of us that get a bit ill or want to be more healthy it is cool to make your own. It also saves me so much money. I mean a cup that you make for yourself can cost less than a dollar while one flavored latte depending on the size can go anywhere from three dollars to five bux! Save some of that cash for that gothic necklace or tights you've been eyeing. Just saying ;)

Gothic Cupcake baking
I got together with one of my best buds to make gothic inspired graveyard cupcakes this weekend. We made them vegan with silken tofu for a binder. They turned out amazing. We put oreo cookies on some of them and bananas on the bottom of others. We couldn't wait for Halloween because every day for us is Halloween anyways. I hope you share some of your yummy holiday baking with me so I can see what everyone is doing.
