After Valentine's Picnic

For all the single and non single goths out there I threw an after Valentine's picnic where we all brought things to share. One person made us home made drinks the outfits were lovely. The park was amazing where we went. It was surrounded by trees. I will be throwing more dress up picnics in the future. There were many woodland animals and loads of beautiful scenery. One of my good friends brought home made lavender scones and tea. I brought ginger squares, hummus, veggies and pita chips for a healthy snack. There were so many goodies. I wore a red corset from Good Goth and later changed into a dark purple lace top that I packed in my bag. I hope you had a lovely weekend!

Happy Valentines

This weekend is a whirlwind of fun. I don't remember the last time I had so much fun during Valentines. I hope the single folks had fun out with friends and the pairs had some romantic dates with loved ones. Whatever the case is for you I hope you had a lovely day. I am putting together a goth picnic with my friends and later heading to Carmel like I said before but here is a bit of Valentines inspiration to inspire you whether it is with love, art, food or other. Cheers!

I got this incredible jar of candy from Mountain View General store.

He usually gives me something involving black bats or heavy metal but he surprised me with a classic piece of jewelry. A very sweet gesture that I did not expect.

Corset hoodie, Hell Bunny.
Skirt, Good Goth.
Shoes, Amazon.
Invader Zim earmuffs, gift from friend.
Skeleton dress, Hot Topic.
Heart necklace, Hot Topic.

Book Review: The Art of Gothic

One of my favorite books so far. Such a great read, very informative and would be perfect for guests to check out on your goth coffee table. The intro is fantastic! A lot of cool photos and media that will catch your eye and not leave you bored. I loved the author went into detail about the history of goth and post-punk. So rad! I think a lot of old school goths will enjoy this book and new and younger goths can get a good education from the knowledge this book presents.

Happy Friday the 13th!

I love celebrating this Friday the 13th with friends. It is right before Valentines this weekend so we are watching spooky films and making tea sandwiches for our upcoming after Valentines goth picnic this sunday. A few days ago I picked up some candles for spell work than went to a lovely cemetery I recently added teal to my hair and I love the results.
