Peter Murphy in San Francisco

The other night friends and I went to see Peter Murphy in San Francisco. He was amazing. It was a very transcendent experience. I had never had the pleasure of seeing him before so I was thrilled. He is so lovely. I also was excited to meet some of the members from The Blah Boutique. They played upstairs where I had drinks and dinner with my husband. They are a really cool band. I ended up getting their cd. They are super friendly and talented. I hope to see them some time in concert as well. Cheb I Sabbah, an amazing dj, opened on the main floor for Peter Murphy, followed by another band called Ours. I was excited to hear Peter Murphy perform songs from Bauhaus. I have always really like them and enjoy their music very much. Did anyone else get to see the show? If so please feel free to share your pictures and experiences!

Cheers!

New gothic coffee cozy

I was excited to find this lovely "spooky bats" coffee cozy on etsy for such a great price. I love supporting artists when I can and I like having my own little unique cozy. It also gets people thinking about recycling. I recycle all the time in my art and clothing etc. At times I forget my mug/cup so I always keep this in my purse just in case I have to get a drink in a to go cup so I don't waste too much. It is nice to be stylish and eco friendly. There are a lot of unique cozies/holders etc online and you can even make your own! There are cool tutorials online.

Reading an old issue of Gothic Beauty and enjoying coffee.

Chilling with my coffee cozy at Coffee Society.

Mayhem Festival 2013

This 4th of July weekend we went to the Mayhem Fest at Shoreline. It was wicked and surreal. I love Rob Zombie and was so excited to see him play. I saw him one other time and he puts on such a great show. I hope to see him play many times in the future. It is always a dream come true to see him and his band. He is one of my all time favorite musicians. It was cool to see Mastodon too. I had never seen them play before. I love Amon Amarth too and Five Finger Death punch was awesome. I had never seen them play either. I hope you all have a really wonderful 4th of July this week. Remember our troops and service men and women. Thank you to all my friends and family who have served!

Love my new Mayhem shirt!
