Uesugi Farms Pumpkin Patch

I love pumpkin patches and I ventured out to Morgan Hill to check out the Uesugi Farms Pumpkin Patch for something different this year. They have a cool corn maze you can get lost in, beautiful flowers and much more. They have a large selection of pumpkin foods like pumpkin ice cream, pie etc. if you feel like a snack and an even larger array of pumpkins to choose from at very good prices. I got a sugar pie pumpkin for two dollars and two mini white colored pumpkins to decorate my mantle with. Staff and farmers there are very friendly. If you go try for a weekday if you can get the day off as the weekends can get extremely busy. Their gift store had many cute gothic items. I got Dracula, bat and skull earrings for very affordable prices. My outfit inspiration was of course Jack Skellington since he is the king of the pumpkin patch ;)

Sweeney Todd performed by Theatre Works

I met up with friends to catch Sweeney Todd. I have seen it performed before and I loved it. This was by far the best performance I have seen. Theater Works did an amazing job. Great acting, casting and lovely set design. One of my favorite things was how they incorporated war time into the story so well complete with fun signs that read the audience needed gas masks before stepping into the performance. The explosions and lighting were incredibly cool and made you feel like you stepped into chaos and magic.  The acting and singing were superb. Like I've mentioned before if you haven't yet seen Sweeney Todd performed please do so. It is one of the most gothic, horror, tragic love musicals I have seen. I always enjoy it.

New gothic and Halloween items at Mountain View General

For those of you in the Bay Area come down to Mountain View General store and check out some of their new fun items. Some of my favorites are fall/autumn Halloween themed fascinators and gloves by Arsenic Fashions who I also model for, some rad "metal" themed tshirts featuring "Mountain View" logo print, some cute bat hair clips and also Jack Skellington art and jewelry. They have quite a bit of fantastical jewelry that I like.

Lovely fall/autumn fascinator from Arsenic Fashions.

Super rad Jack Skellington jewelry and art piece.
