DIY goth note book

Materials I used were pen, printed pics from the web, scissors, glue and a notebook. You can find really great prices on notebooks at the dollar store. I usually stick with black or red or purple. You can find glitter pens and glue and scissors there as well sometimes or even paints if you would rather paint your notebook. You can glue fabric like lace on as well for texture with a hot glue gun. Do what you want! Make it creative and fun. Enjoy!!

Beetlejuice DIY hand stitched patch sweater

I love hand stitching and get great pleasure from making and reworking my own items. I recently found this awesome striped piece that was perfect for my Beetlejuice patch. I have such a love for all things Tim Burton as is very apparent with my themed tattooed sleeve. I enjoy doing DIY so much and I love sharing it with you all.  I put it on my shop: Winter's Store Envy

My newly furnished Gothic bedroom

My friend is badass. I redid my room and he helped me get my display together for all my gothic purses, accessories, jewelry etc on my walls. He did such a great job. Thank you so much!!

He put in a portable hanger set for my diy items from my shop.

He added display for my purses to adorn my walls.

He added beautiful displays for my gothic jewelry.

Beautiful display on my dresser with my handmade DIY candleabra.

Where I get my patches

I always get asked where I get most of my patches and buttons. I get them from various shops in town and online. I recently got this rad Beetlejuice patch from etsy shop Infinity Dreams Print Shop.

My new DIY Ensiferum patch jacket

I love Black Metal and Folk Metal so I was excited to find this Ensiferum patch on ebay to sew onto my faux leather coat. There is something satisfying about reworking clothing and making it your own. They still have these patches on ebay if anyone is interested in getting one.

My trad goth inspired jacket

A finally finished my trad goth/death rock inspired jacket and wanted to share it with you guys. I got the blazer from HM shop and found various patches and buttons from all over the place including a cool record shop near town where I currently live now. It was a lot of fun. If you look closely you can also see the leggings I made myself as well. Do you DIY if so? What kind of things do you enjoy to make? I love seeing other people's creations.

Goth DIY for handbags and zippers

When a zipper clasp falls off or fails I go to the fabric store and get some cute little skull or bat clasps to replace them. Sometimes if a bag isn't goth to my liking I replace the zipper clasps with my own. It is super easy to do. Just make sure you have a sturdy pair of pliers to work with.

DIY Vegan Pumpkin Spiced latte

I think quite a few flavored coffees in the stores are too sweet and not very healthy so I always make my own. You not only save money but also you get better quality coffee. There are a few places that make good flavored drinks but most of them are not for me. If I go to a cafe' I prefer a simple coffee or maybe vanilla or almond soy or almond latte, soy cappuccino if I feel fancy. Here I show you how I made one of my favorite drinks for the fall.

What you will need:
1. Pumpkin flavored coffee or regular coffee and pumkin syrup
(if you want it sweet... I tend to not want things overly sweet so I usually won't opt for syrup)
They have a great pumpkin flavor coffee at World Market. Looove that place!

2. Vegan/non dairy whip ( you can easily find this at a place like Whole Foods)

3. Espresso machine or if you don't have one just brew a strong cup of coffee

4. Vanilla almond milk or vanilla soy milk (if you are using flavored syrup I'd advise you to opt for non sweet almond or soy milk as it can get too sweet.)

5. Cinnamon or even nutmeg if you wish.

To make: brew espresso shots or 1 cup of medium to strong coffee, heat flavored milk on stove top or if you want it cooler you can just pour it in. Pour a generous portion in coffee mug with coffee
( about a few tablespoons or more if you like it more milky.), add a dollop of vegan whip cream and top with a pinch of spices : cinnamon or nutmeg, or both! and voila!

This latte seriously cuts calories and junk out where fast coffee places would add so many additives. Not to knock cafe's who have them! I mean once in a while a sweet coffee is fun but for those of us that get a bit ill or want to be more healthy it is cool to make your own. It also saves me so much money. I mean a cup that you make for yourself can cost less than a dollar while one flavored latte depending on the size can go anywhere from three dollars to five bux! Save some of that cash for that gothic necklace or tights you've been eyeing. Just saying ;)
